How will the iSOB acheive its stated goals?

Strategic Plan

  • Priority investigations shall include: a) conflicts of interest relating to radiation/chemical health risk, b) conflicts in human research, c) indentured academics(moonlighting) and d) conflicts within major international and national organizations, inc. ICRP, NCRP, UNSCEAR, NRPB, IAEA, U.S. FDA, DOE, EPA ,NRC, NCI, CDC, USDA, National Academy of Sciences, Health Physics Society, American Cancer Society, Health Canada, etc., etc.

  • Seek grants from foundations, environmental health NGOs and individuals.

  • Hire a staff of investigators and interns, as funds permit.

  • Develop a communications network.

  • Publish monographs and position papers, including past and current papers by iSOB members(that deserve a wider audience).

  • Hold press conferences and press briefings.

  • Send Position Papers to oversight bodies.

  • Secure display tables at conferences and workshops.

  • Write op-ed columns and letters to the editor.

  • Testify before congressional oversight committees.

  • Sponsor regional conferences.
